About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Under the supervision of the Senior Radiologic Technologist, provides direct patient care services and other related functions in support of the department.
  • Performs independently within scope of department policies.
  • Clinically works at the direction of a qualified Radiologist.
  • Properly performs all diagnostic and fluoroscopic radiologic techniques and examinations, consistent with the age of the patient, within in-patient or outpatient settings, in compliance with departmental and professional standards and protocols.
  • Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.
  • Assists physicians with interventional exams.
  • Promptly and properly completes exams and appropriately performs QA to images and sends exams to PACS for review by the radiologist.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with peers to produce optimum results.
  • Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families.
