About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Initiates all new caregiver pre-employment items including human resources items (I9, W4, M4, emergency contact forms, etc.)
  • Conducts new caregiver onboarding appointments which may have to rotate to different sites based on business needs
  • Monitors all items for completion to ensure compliance is finalized prior to new caregiver start date
  • Maintains onboarding documentation for all caregiver hire types
  • Facilitates CORI pre-adverse process with caregiver and maintains folder and documentation
  • Monitors and responds to talent acquisition email account within 48 hours
  • May participate on HR Joint Commission readiness team and assist with any regulatory audits/mock surveys as well as accreditation surveys
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with new hire start lists for key stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business or related discipline preferred
  • Relevant professional credentials, such as SHRM-CP, HCI Strategic HR Leadership, HCI Strategic Talent Acquisition, Certified Internet Recruiter preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Experience with computer systems required including web based applications and Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access
  • Previous human resources or talent acquisition experience preferred
  • Experience in healthcare preferred
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations preferred
  • LEAN/Six Sigma experience improving HR processes and customer service preferred
  • Workday experience highly desirable
