About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Facilitate learning in assigned MABE courses in an online asynchronous format
Provide timely, individualized, and constructive feedback on assignments, typically within 7 days
Maintain regular and proactive communication with students and respond to questions in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with program leadership and faculty to support course quality, candidate success, and continuous program improvement
Use the learning management system, video tools, and digital collaboration platforms to support student learning
Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions
Uphold academic integrity, including responsible use of generative AI

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree in bilingual education or a closely related field from an accredited institution
More than two years of teaching experience in higher education
Demonstrated expertise in bilingual or multilingual education, language development, and equitable instructional practice in PK-12, higher education, or community-based settings serving multilingual learners
Ability to engage and support students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, including international and domestic students
Ability to foster an online learning environment promoting participation, collaboration, and mutual respect
Experience with educational technologies and online teaching environments
Strong written communication skills
Commitment to supporting diverse learners
Approved residence in Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Wisconsin
