About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Facilitate learning in assigned MABE courses in an online asynchronous format
  • Provide timely, individualized, and constructive feedback on assignments, typically within 7 days

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree in bilingual education or a closely related field from an accredited institution
  • More than two years of teaching experience in higher education
  • Demonstrated expertise in bilingual or multilingual education, language development, and equitable instructional practice in PK-12, higher education, or community-based settings serving multilingual learners
  • Ability to engage and support students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, including international and domestic students
  • Ability to foster an online learning environment promoting participation, collaboration, and mutual respect
  • Experience with educational technologies and online teaching environments
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learners
  • Approved residence in Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Wisconsin
