About the role
- Provide technical vision and direction
- Understand and empathise with client contexts, needs and limitations
- Take responsibility for our technical POV, solutions and quality
- Act as the technical interface between teams, clients, Umain and Eidra
- Be ahead of the tech curve, and ensure Umain remains competitive
- Participate actively in pitches and proposals, spotting opportunities, and building trust & reputation for Umain's Tech Capability
- Monitor, enable and steer the progress of projects
- Ensure solutions are compliant with relevant regulations and standards
- Contribute to project estimation and budgeting
- Shape and refine practices, processes, tools, and methodologies
- Mentor and guide project teams & developers, evangelising feedback
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial; experience shipping 0-1 and scaling 1-N
- Consulting/agency experience; a fan of the diverse work
- Skilled at building long-term relationships with senior stakeholders
- Strong problem-solver and structured thinker, to navigate ambiguity
- Full stack, with agentic coding and product experience
