Key responsibilities & impact

Ultra Mission Solutions is hiring early-career Software Engineers to join the Mission Software team under the mentorship of one of our Solutions Architects, supporting high-demand programs and mission application development.
This is a pipeline role designed to develop the next generation of Solutions Architects.
In this role, you will work directly with a senior Solutions Architect to build up your engineering capabilities, leveraging modern AI tools to force-multiply the team’s impact and accelerate delivery for high-demand programs.
You will take on progressively challenging work as you develop, with a clear growth path toward a Solutions Architect track.
We are seeking ambitious, innovative, and curious engineers ready to learn fast and contribute quickly.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM discipline (or equivalent experience)
0–3 years of software engineering experience (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
Solid foundation in software development fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, version control)
Curiosity, ambition, and a strong drive to learn
Must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance; active clearance preferred
U.S. Citizenship required
