About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee all Power Lifeline Sector contracts
Leads and manages workflow of all contract stages
Reviews, revises, drafts, negotiates, and closes commercial contracts
Provide strategic, business-oriented contract advice to internal stakeholders
Monitor and manage the contracts database
Serve as the primary business liaison for contract negotiations
Perform appropriate legal and operational research
Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Technical teams
Develop and implement Power Lifeline Sector contract standards
Monitor contract performance and compliance
Recommend and implement process improvements
Ensure effective reporting and data tracking
Partner with internal and/or external counsel to resolve disputes
Create and lead training initiatives for leadership and execution team members
Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
May include supervision and management for team of Contract Analysts and Contract Specialists

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and governance
Extensive knowledge of the Power industry, particularly in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts
Bachelor’s degree (Legal, Business, Finance, or Engineering) required
JD or MBA preferred
NCMA certification a plus
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Proven negotiation expertise
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and analytical
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage high contract volumes
