About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Facilitate collaboration across disciplines and project team members
Serve as client contact to define project scope and understand requirements
Develop capital construction plans supporting Grid Modernization initiatives
Create technical solutions to address client distribution system challenges
Perform distribution planning studies, including Distributed Energy Resource (DER) impact analysis
Prepare deliverables such as system study reports, consultative reports, capital construction plans, cost-benefit analyses, and construction specifications
Partner with clients to develop customized solutions for distribution grid challenges and modernization goals
Provide oversight of QA/QC processes for deliverables prepared by team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school
Minimum of 14 years engineering experience is required
PE license required
Proficiency in Synergi Electric, Milsoft Windmil, or Eaton CymeDist is required
Previous experience working for or with a vertically integrated Utility is preferred
Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) and GIS applications is preferred
Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.
