About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead small-to-medium engineering projects from initiation through close-out for CAISO/DWR/Plant SCADA/Mission Critical/Water/Wastewater.
  • Manage all aspects of project execution, including scope, stakeholder management, schedule, budget, and quality, within CAISO/DWR/Plant SCADA/Mission Critical/ Water/Wastewater projects.
  • Lead internal and external project meetings, including progress reviews and problem-solving sessions.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Point person for contract negotiation and management.
  • Accountable for key project decision making.
  • Collaborate with the Project Coordinators to ensure project schedules and costs are managed and tracked to plan.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in project administration/management or a related role, preferably within an engineering or construction firm.
  • Proficient understanding of project management and project controls.
  • Microsoft Dynamics (Finance & Operations) experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Planview Adaptive Work).
  • CAPM certification preferred, PMP or equivalent preferred.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
  • Must be able to travel to the U.S. and Canada.
