About the role

  • Complete project setup, maintenance, and closeout within the system of record
  • Provide administrative support for contract management, including reviewing and tracking contract deliverables
  • Facilitate communication within project teams to ensure smooth project operations
  • Assist Project Managers and other stakeholders with general responsibilities and tasks as delegated
  • Support the project team by coordinating meetings, workshops, and other project-related activities
  • Identify and track potential project risks to support the Project Manager in Risk Management Process & Documentation Management
  • Prepare and distribute project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and presentations
  • Maintain organized records of project documents, ensuring all stakeholders have access to the latest information
  • Effectively initiate and implement process changes as necessary
  • Support administration of project contracts (including subcontracts) and change orders
  • Support the project manager in preparation and management of project schedules, budgets, and financial reports
  • Proactively identify trends and potential project issues regarding resource planning, schedule, scope, and budget and work with the Project Team to support a risk management strategy
  • Maintain project schedule and budget updates throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Proactively identify work assignments that need to be completed
  • Build relationships with the Project Team to foster coordination and communication

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in project administration or a related role, preferably working on engineering projects, power industry experience preferred
  • Intermediate understanding of project management and project controls
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Planview Adaptive Work)
  • Microsoft Dynamics (Finance & Operations) experience preferred
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S
