About the role
- Manage all aspects of the proposal process, including timelines and stakeholder accountabilities
- Review proposal requests to identify missing information and resolve issues
- Lead the creation of draft proposal responses and estimates
- Collaborate with technical, sales, and field services teams to gather input
- Maintain consistency across proposals and corporate guidelines
- Prepare proposal development plans and manage communication
- Research, analyze, write, and edit proposals that are informative and persuasive
- Utilize the proposal database to source content for proposal responses
- Manage and facilitate subcontractor contributions to proposals
- Lead opportunity-specific meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Communication, Marketing, Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in proposals, project management, or engineering within Power or Renewable Energy industries
- Knowledge of the Shipley Color Review proposal process
- Strong business acumen in project management, proposals, and consulting engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality outputs while managing multiple tasks under time constraints
