About the role
- Manage Ohio Logistics operations, serving as a liaison between Corporate Logistics and the Ohio Distribution team
- Assist in carrier management, including selection, qualification and performance evaluation in partnership with Corporate Logistics
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess carrier performance and implement improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Work directly with Inbound Receiving and Inbound Logistics team on product transfers
- Use analytics to help fulfill Uline's customer promise of same-day shipping
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years management experience
- Distribution, warehousing, technology, order fulfillment and third-party management experience a plus
- Ability to travel 20% of the time
- All positions are on-site
