About the role
- Meet sales objectives (budgeted sales plan) as established and supported by the quarterly Management by Objectives (MBO’s).
- Manage the day-to-day sales activities for all products/services offered by uLab Systems within a specific defined geographic territory.
- Responsible for customer acquisition, supporting implementation, and managing the long-term successful growth of customer partnerships.
- Prepare and maintain a comprehensive territory business plan outlining how set goals will be achieved.
- Make multiple remote and physical sales calls daily (minimum of 4 calls per day on average per month) to uncover new prospective customers.
- Analyze data and trends within the company CRM (SalesForce) and other reporting tools.
- Develop detailed pre-call account plans and strategic follow-up initiatives.
- Collaborate with the clinical support team for product demonstrations and account on-boarding.
- Instill trust of the customer and co-workers, gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
- Share best practices to create new and better ways for the company to be successful.
- Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
- Establish trust based, long-term partnerships with customers, Key Opinion Leader’s (KOL’s) and Orthodontic Service Organization (OSO).
- Manage travel and entertainment budget/expenses as outlined in the uLab Systems Travel & Expense Policy.
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field from an accredited college or university OR Professional Degree (RDH, CDT, CDA).
- Experience working and selling disruptive technology in a startup organization.
- Minimum five (5) years of documented sales success, revenue growth.
- Experience in building and managing customer partnerships.
- Consistently achieve results, even under tough market conditions.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a variety of projects simultaneously with limited supervision or direction.
- Comfortable in a performance-based sales culture focused on revenue growth.
- Strong interpersonal, persuasive, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work from remote for administrative and other needs as defined by management.
- Ability to work in patient treatment rooms (including but not limited to dental operatories, universities and other clinical settings).
- Available for extensive travel (including but not limited to air, train, bus, taxi or shared ride services; national and international), nights and weekend work as necessary.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license and the ability to drive and operate a motor vehicle with appropriate insurance levels for the state(s) in which the territory is defined.
- Multi-task time management skills and strong business acumen.
- Must have a positive attitude and a hunger for achieving revenue growth.
