About the role

  • Assist with standards and engagement projects related to industry mission and goals.
  • Help collect and organize data using qualitative and quantitative scientific methods.
  • Analyze data to draw meaningful insights and trends.
  • Support in creating reports, presentations, and visualizations summarizing technical findings.
  • Prepare materials for internal and external presentations.
  • Work closely with the data science & engineering team and other departments to gather information.
  • Assist in the coordination of standards development projects, organize, and maintain project documentation.
  • Stay current with relevant literature, trends, and developments in the field.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or advanced degree program in a related field (e.g. engineering, data science, etc.)
  • Strong interest in the non-profit sector and research related to safety, social or environmental issues
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g. Excel, SPSS, R)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • An eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
