About the role
- Support a diverse portfolio of standards and related initiatives
- Drive the technical quality, relevance, and integrity of safety standards
- Serve as a subject matter expert across broad technical areas
- Apply engineering principles, data inputs, stakeholder insights and structured technical evaluation
- Evaluate standards content for technical completeness, consistency and alignment with intended safety outcomes
- Analyze products, standards, and testing methodologies to gather insights
- Work cross-functionally with standards development and engagement teams
- Represent the organization at industry related functions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related technical discipline
- Advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of directly related technical work experience
- Familiarity with product safety, standards development, testing, certification, regulatory compliance, or related technical area preferred.
