About the role
- Design, develop, and deploy features that elevate the Ukio platform in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Develop AI-driven automation and integrations to optimize operations and customer experience
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to uphold best practices
- Analyze performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize systems for scalability and reliability
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to identify opportunities and propose solutions
- Develop empathy for users to deliver intuitive solutions
- Stay curious and experiment with new technologies to keep the platform innovative
Requirements
- 3-5 years as a backend engineer, with hands-on experience in a dynamically typed language (Elixir, Python, or Ruby)
- Proficient with SQL
- Comfortable in AWS environments
- Familiarity with AI or automation tools is a plus
- Problem-solving skills and technical solution proposal ability
- Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments and short feedback loops
- Experience leading or contributing significantly to engineering initiatives
