About the role

  • Design, develop, and deploy features that elevate the Ukio platform in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Develop AI-driven automation and integrations to optimize operations and customer experience
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to uphold best practices
  • Analyze performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize systems for scalability and reliability
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to identify opportunities and propose solutions
  • Develop empathy for users to deliver intuitive solutions
  • Stay curious and experiment with new technologies to keep the platform innovative

Requirements

  • 3-5 years as a backend engineer, with hands-on experience in a dynamically typed language (Elixir, Python, or Ruby)
  • Proficient with SQL
  • Comfortable in AWS environments
  • Familiarity with AI or automation tools is a plus
  • Problem-solving skills and technical solution proposal ability
  • Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments and short feedback loops
  • Experience leading or contributing significantly to engineering initiatives
