Business Development Manager – Contract Sales

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive new business through outbound activity, networking, and site visits
- Re-engage lapsed customers and bring them back on contract
- Conduct site surveys to understand systems and requirements
- Sell PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) contracts for dry risers, wet risers, and sprinkler systems
- Build long-term relationships with decision-makers
- Prepare and present tailored proposals
- Manage your pipeline using CRM and internal systems
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure smooth delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven B2B sales background (ideally contract/services-based)
- Comfortable generating your own pipeline and working to targets
- Resilient – you don’t fall apart after a few knockbacks
- Strong work ethic – you’ll get out what you put in
- Confident dealing with clients face-to-face on-site
- Able to manage your own time and territory
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Fire industry knowledge is helpful, but not essential – we’ll teach you that.
