About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide individualized mentorship to B’not Sherut
Guide and support B’not Sherut in implementing educational initiatives
Participate in regular team meetings to address mentoring challenges
Plan and coordinate the B’not Sherut interview and selection process
Manage all program logistics including transport and wellness
Support B’not Sherut’s independent living arrangements and day-to-day wellness
Prepare and present periodic progress reports to the Donor

Requirements

What you’ll need

Post-secondary education preferred (Education, Psychology, Social Work, Jewish Studies, or related field)
Experience in working with Israeli Teens in experiential education context
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Fluency in spoken and written English and Hebrew required
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight programs
Advanced computer proficiency
Deep knowledge of Israeli society and familiarity with the Toronto Jewish community
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are an asset
