About the role
- Technical leadership of web platform projects with responsibility for architecture, quality and scalability
- Proactive stakeholder management, bridging the gap between clients' business and technology areas and our implementation teams
- Mentoring and conducting code reviews for frontend developers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing within the team
- Aligning with internal stakeholders and driving technical decisions, tooling and technology strategy
- Designing and evolving scalable component architectures and clean code standards based on Astro, React or Vue and their respective meta-frameworks
- Close collaboration with UX, backend and project management to translate requirements into sustainable technical solutions
- Integration of enterprise-grade headless and traditional (headful) CMS solutions (e.g., Storyblok, Contentful, FirstSpirit, Sitecore), typically involving integration with multiple third-party systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development, including 2+ years leading a development team
- Strong leadership skills to drive technology decisions and lead a development team
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- High sense of ownership, quality awareness, and structured, solution-oriented thinking
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and at least one of the frameworks Astro, React or Vue
- Familiarity with modern build tools and CI/CD pipelines (Vite, Webpack, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Experience in frontend performance optimization and monitoring (Core Web Vitals, profiling)
- Deep understanding of UX principles, responsive design and accessibility standards
- Experience with frontend testing strategies and quality assurance
- Very good written and spoken German or English skills
