About the role

  • Develop and maintain effective and positive working relationships with stakeholders and team members
  • Gather and document requirements, understand campaign flows logic, apply/build attributes and events, and define timelines as per SLAs
  • Define audience segments in Hightouch models and set up audiences, attributes, and event triggers for personalized email campaigns
  • Implement marketing programs across channels (Email, Push Notification, In App Messaging, Webhook, WhatsApp)
  • Build dynamic, mobile-responsive emails/content blocks from scratch using HTML5 and CSS3
  • Implement Liquid/JavaScript to create targeted and relevant personalization in emails
  • Monitor email programs to ensure deliverability to a global customer base
  • Contribute to project management of email campaigns in Asana
  • Contribute to lifecycle, promotions, and trigger-based programs
  • Utilize Validity to proof email campaigns for correct design and device rendering
  • Troubleshoot issues or errors pre- or post-launch and monitor campaign performance
  • Collaborate with Brand, Product, Engineering, and Data Science to improve automation and personalization
  • Monitor trends, analyze data, optimize marketing campaigns, and identify process improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical email marketing experience
  • Subject Matter Expert in leading Marketing Automation Tools (Braze, Adobe Campaign, Marketo, Adobe Experience Cloud or similar)
  • Solid experience in HTML5 and CSS3 and ability to build emails from scratch and troubleshoot coding bugs
  • Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues, code solutions, and email best practices
  • Familiarity with email marketing concepts, deployment, and implementation
  • Experience defining audience segments in Hightouch models and setting up audiences, attributes, and event triggers
  • Experience implementing cross-channel campaigns (Email, Push Notification, In App Messaging, Webhook, WhatsApp)
  • Experience implementing Liquid and JavaScript for email personalization
  • Extensive experience QA’ing content, audience, and automation
  • Ability to monitor post-launch campaign success, escalate and resolve issues
  • Knowledge of email best practices, A/B testing, and CAN-SPAM laws
  • Experience using email optimization/proofing tools (e.g., Validity)
  • Experience with Asana or similar project management tools
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Drive to improve processes and increase operational efficiencies
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams (Brand, Product, Engineering, Data Science)
