About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports enterprise applications across UCLA Health
- Works independently on projects assigned by the Application Manager and/or Financial & Administrative Systems Director
- Ensures the stability, performance, and ongoing enhancement of key business applications
- Troubleshoots, maintains, and optimizes existing software applications
- Designs, builds, tests, implements, and supports new applications, enhancements, and modules
- Develops a deep understanding of application functionality
- Partners with business owners, vendors, and Information Services & Solutions (ISS) team members to analyze requests and recommend solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Broad and/or in-depth knowledge of multiple areas of focus in application specialty areas
- Ability to research, organize, analyze, and synthesize data to support effective decision making
- Must be detail oriented and have a knack for probing for information
- Ability to decide priority of assigned tasks and manage multiple and competing tasks
- Ability to work effectively as a team player and work with people of all backgrounds, at all levels
- Effective leadership skills and strong customer service orientation
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to remain calm in difficult and stressful situations
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated technical and functional proficiency with UKG Workforce Central
- Demonstrated proficiency with scripting, report development and application configuration
