About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement scalable microservices in a cloud-first environment (AWS).
Translate product requirements into robust technical designs and architectural decisions.
Develop secure, resilient backend services using C# and .NET Core.
Ensure strong automated testing practices aligned with the test pyramid.
Review peers’ code and mentor engineers to elevate engineering standards.
Lead research and technical planning for complex initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across distributed systems.
Promote best practices balancing performance, scalability, cost, and delivery timelines.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, UX Designers, and UI Engineers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core.
Deep understanding of microservices architecture and service-oriented design.
Solid AWS experience and strong cloud best practices knowledge.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong SQL knowledge and relational database design (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora).
Familiarity with DynamoDB.
Experience designing scalable, secure, cost-effective cloud applications.
Strong understanding of secure coding practices.
Experience working in distributed, global teams.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
