About the role

Design, develop, and maintain new features across HRIS modules (Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, CoreHR).
Modernize existing features in a multi-tenant cloud SaaS environment.
Write high-performance Oracle PL/SQL code, following best practices for maintainability and scalability.
Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data operations for large datasets and high transaction volumes.
Take ownership of validating your work through shift-left testing—including unit, integration, and regression tests.
Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) to speed up development, refactoring, and documentation.
Collaborate with a distributed, agile engineering team across multiple time zones.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
Solid understanding of Oracle RDBMS, including performance tuning, indexing strategies, triggers, and execution plans.
Experience working in SaaS or transactional systems with complex business logic.
Ability to design efficient data structures, functions, and stored procedures.
Familiarity with shift-left development: writing tests, validating logic, ensuring correctness.
Experience using AI development tools to accelerate coding and improve code quality.
Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Experience collaborating within distributed, agile teams.
