About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, from a technical-analytical perspective, the Sector's more complex projects and initiatives involving multiple Mission Units, internal areas, and external partners, taking responsibility for scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables to ensure effectiveness, institutional integration, and coherence of actions with the Group's mission and identity.
  • Design and review the Sector's methodologies, instruments, and workflows, proposing standardized planning, monitoring, and evaluation models applicable across the network to strengthen methodological consistency and ensure that processes support qualified pastoral practice in the Mission Units.
  • Prepare diagnoses, technical studies, comparative analyses, and prospective scenarios to support the definition of priorities, resource allocation, and decision-making by governance bodies, aiming to improve institutional decisions and guide strategies that promote holistic formation and pastoral impact.
  • Model and revise institutional processes by mapping flows, identifying bottlenecks, redesigning procedures, and defining performance and control indicators to enhance organizational efficiency, ensuring that processes serve the mission and pastoral action.
  • Produce technical opinions, analytical notes, and governance documents for governance and other institutional bodies with clarity, depth, and normative adherence to support strategic decisions with technical consistency and alignment with institutional identity and principles.
  • Take technical responsibility for drafting, reviewing, and consolidating the Sector's normative instruments (policies, regulations, standard operating procedures, and guidelines), in coordination with the competent areas, to ensure standardization, compliance, and coherence of practices with the institutional mission and pastoral work.
  • Monitor, from an analytical perspective, the execution of the Strategic Plan, the Three-Year Plan, and operational plans linked to the Sector, proposing evidence-based adjustments using indicators and contextual analysis to ensure alignment between planning and practice and contribute to the effectiveness of pastoral actions.
  • Manage the Sector's information governance, ensuring data reliability, integrity, and traceability, and structuring dashboards and management reports for different audiences to improve knowledge management and demonstrate results and impacts of pastoral initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain technical dialogue with strategic areas, ensuring cross-functional integration of processes and alignment of deliverables to promote institutional synergy and strengthen the integrated presence of pastoral work across different fronts of activity.
  • Advise on the Sector's budget planning processes by consolidating forecasts, monitoring execution, and preparing technical justifications for revisions and reallocations to ensure efficient resource allocation and the sustainability of actions aligned with the institutional mission.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education / Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy, Philosophy, Theology, Social Sciences, Administration, Project Management, Law, or related fields. Postgraduate lato sensu desirable; stricto sensu (master's/doctorate) preferred.
  • Specific Knowledge: Strategic project and portfolio management, preferably in the educational/confessional environment; process modeling and improvement; drafting normative instruments and institutional writing techniques; corporate governance, internal controls, and risk management; data analysis and development of management dashboards; strategic planning and goal deployment; budgeting, costing, and project feasibility analysis; knowledge of the confessional education sector, the organizational structure of Grupo UBEC, and its institutional instruments.
