Manage a team of 5-8 Data Analysts responsible for operational analytics
Maintain team backlog, scheduled data refreshes, and report subscriptions
Administer Tableau Cloud, Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Coach Analysts with SQL, Tableau, Snowflake and general analytics best practices
Ensure analytics function has all team, business process, backend, and frontend procedures documented and maintained
Support pharma client engagements with the Analytics team as needed
Build business process, application, and data subject matter expertise for all service lines to serve as advisor to Operations leadership, Analysts, and clients
Create and maintain excellent customer-facing relationships with Operations and clients
Present project status updates and state of the team to Head of Analytics weekly
Take full ownership of analytics execution and team performance
Work directly with the Head of Data Analytics to execute organizational customer-facing data strategy and optimize Data Analyst staff performance
Requirements
BS in a technical field (Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, etc)
3+ years Snowflake experience
Advanced SQL skills
Advanced dashboard design skills
2+ years experience with Tableau
1+ year experience with Power BI
Experience with Tableau Cloud, Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Snowflake, and Python
5+ years of data analysis experience in a customer-facing, consultative role
5+ years managing Data Analysts with a hands-on approach
Excellent communication and presentation ability
Excellent project management skills
Keen attention to detail and highly organized
Healthcare data background
Preferred: MS in a data-related field (BI, Analytics, Data Science, etc)
Preferred: Pharma experience
Preferred: Expert-level SQL skills
Preferred: Expert-level Tableau skills
Preferred: 10+ years of prior experience as a Data Analyst in a highly-technical role
