About the role
- Lead Brand Design Strategy: Develop and implement visual brand strategies that align with the institution’s mission and resonate with diverse audiences across digital and print platforms.
- Design Multi-Channel Assets: Create engaging visual content for websites, social media, email campaigns, brochures, and event materials to support marketing and enrollment goals.
- Ensure Brand Consistency: Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistent application across all internal and external communications.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with marketing, communications, academic teams, and student services to deliver cohesive visual solutions that support institutional initiatives.
- Manage Creative Projects: Oversee the full lifecycle of design projects, from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Mentor and Guide Designers: Provide creative direction and feedback to junior designers and freelance contributors, fostering a high standard of design excellence.
- Support Campaign Development: Contribute to the visual direction of integrated campaigns, bringing storytelling and design expertise to enhance audience engagement.
- Stay Current with Design Trends: Research and apply emerging design trends and technologies to keep the institution’s brand fresh, relevant, and competitive.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in graphic design with agency or in-house with emphasis on presentation design.
- Skills – Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Keynote, Google Slides, Prezi, Monday.com, DAM System (Bynder), Ziflow, portfolio showcasing, communication, interpersonal skills and collaboration.
- Ability to professionally communicate fluently in verbal and written English.
- Ability to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Computer literacy/basic computer skills to effectively navigate and utilize the technology required for the role.
