About the role
- Administer oaths and participate in depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings (training provided)
- Transport, set up, and operate computer and audio equipment for in-office or remote proceedings
- Prepare audio files, exhibits, and other documents for transcription
- Perform administrative duties on a set schedule when not involved in legal proceedings
- Work hybrid at client sites and from home as needed
Requirements
- No prior experience necessary; full training provided
- Comfortable with computers, software, and audio equipment
- Minimum typing speed of 55+ words per minute
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain a state Notary Commission (huge plus if already a Notary)
- AAERT Certification required in some states (training provided if not certified)
- Must pass comprehensive background check, including verifiable work and education history
