About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development, delivery, and maintenance of GBCI credentialing and certificate programs, ensuring high-quality outcomes and program integrity
- Oversee a team of up to 10 employees, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management to drive team effectiveness
- Ensure all credentialing programs meet accreditation standards, including ISO/IEC 17024 and ANSI compliance requirements
- Manage the Credential Maintenance Program (CMP), including policies, guidance documentation, and program reporting
- Drive new credential development initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time with clear milestones and outcomes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Business Development, Technology, and Customer Service teams to support program delivery and growth
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert and primary point of contact for credentialing programs
- Manage vendor and consultant relationships, including contracts and deliverables
- Oversee translation efforts for global credentialing programs
- Develop and implement functional strategies, budgets, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals
- Support governance activities by serving as staff liaison to the Credentialing Steering Committee and Board
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in credentialing, professional certification, test development, or related field
- Proven experience leading teams and managing complex programs or projects
- Strong project management experience with demonstrated ability to deliver on timelines
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred (Business, Management, Educational Measurement, I/O Psychology, or related field)
- Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel preferred)
- Experience with credentialing or assessment platforms preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- PMP or related project management certification preferred
