About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform cost and price analysis, including analyzing financial reports and statements, to determine final closeout costs for contracts.
Review and update financial and administrative files to ensure contract closeouts adhere to government regulations and policies.
Coordinate with project managers to ensure all requirements are met and required documentation is submitted.
Prepare and submit final invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approval, and signatures.
Review and verify contract modifications and adjustments, ensuring appropriate adjustments and accurate documentation.
Ensure subcontracts and purchase orders are appropriately terminated and outstanding issues resolved.
Ensure custody and accountability of government property is properly transferred or disposed of according to government regulations.
Mentor and coach junior team members.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in contract closeout or financial analysis
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as it applies to contracting and procurement
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance
