About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform cost and price analysis, including analyzing financial reports and statements, to determine final closeout costs for contracts.
- Review and update financial and administrative files to ensure contract closeouts adhere to government regulations and policies.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure all requirements are met and required documentation is submitted.
- Prepare and submit final invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approval, and signatures.
- Review and verify contract modifications and adjustments, ensuring appropriate adjustments and accurate documentation.
- Ensure subcontracts and purchase orders are appropriately terminated and outstanding issues resolved.
- Ensure custody and accountability of government property is properly transferred or disposed of according to government regulations.
- Mentor and coach junior team members.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in contract closeout or financial analysis
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as it applies to contracting and procurement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance
