About the role
- Develop iOS applications for mobile phones and tablets
- Integrate iOS applications with back-end services
- Work alongside other DVT engineers across different layers of the infrastructure
- Collaborate on design, problem solving, and creation of quality products
- Consult on cutting-edge applications for top companies and participate in training and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- 4+ years working experience with iOS development
- Proficient with Objective-C or Swift (depending on project requirements)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries (preferred)
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git)
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- OOP experience
- TDD experience (beneficial)
- Matric / Equivalent (application question)
- Legal right to work in South Africa or Kenya or Zimbabwe (application question)
- Backbase experience (asked in application)
