About the role
- Coordinate with assigned project leads to assist in managing of project(s)
- Create and/or update complex project schedules
- Simplify complex schedules for briefing material
- Compile and track information for Engineering Change Requests for projects
- Create and/or update project financial reports
- Track project spending and recoveries using project-specific charge numbers
- Analyze project financial data for funding issues and potential overruns to create and/or update project briefing material and reports
- Create non-project divisional and branch reports and/or briefing material
- Create and/or update project risk
Requirements
- 3-6 years of specialized experience in one or more of the logistics disciplines described above
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 or more years of additional specialized experience in one or more of the logistics disciplines described above OR 12-15 years of military experience may be substituted for a degree
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications such as Project and SharePoint
- Ability to coordinate and track multiple projects at a time using Microsoft Project
- Working knowledge of schedule durations, linkage types, lead/lag parameters, and how they affect a schedule
- Ability to manipulate Microsoft Project schedules and dependencies
- Manipulate Microsoft Excel data and formulas
- Create and maintain financial records (spreadsheets, graphs, etc.)
- Create schedules using data from multiple sources and disciplines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Displayed self-starter attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision
