About the role

  • Support Equipment Finance customers by providing high quality customer service via telephone inquiries and email communications
  • Call customers to collect payment on assigned delinquent accounts and arrange for payment to minimize loss to the organization
  • Collaborate with the team and other functional teams to resolve and reconcile complex customer accounts
  • Research customer problems that could not be resolved and find the best point of contact for a solution
  • Time manage each day between outbound calls to customers, email follow ups and other duties as assigned
  • Hybrid/flexible schedule with in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to four years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of concepts, practices, policies and procedures of banking products and services
  • Effective telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle difficult customer calls
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures and pass background checks; may be subject to FINRA, NMLS, Reg Z, OFAC and other regulatory requirements
  • In-office availability at least 3 or more days per week (hybrid schedule)
