About the role
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership at assigned clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention
- Manage non-credit risk across the customer portfolio to maintain compliance and mitigate exposure
- Prospect and secure new business opportunities to increase spend volume and revenue
- Expand existing customer relationships through cross-selling and upselling of bank products and services
- Monitor profitability and implement strategies to enhance financial performance
- Provide tailored, consultative advice to clients to support their business objectives
- Identify client needs and deliver solutions across all product groups
- Drive growth through program optimization initiatives and strategic planning
- Analyze portfolio performance and recommend improvements to maximize results
- 30-40% travel required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven to ten years of relationship management experience
- Demonstrated success in relationship management and consultative sales within the freight or logistics industries
- Strong understanding of financial products, risk management principles, and their application to client solutions
- Proven sales, business development, and relationship‑expansion capabilities with a focus on identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities
- Broad knowledge of banking products and services, with the ability to leverage offerings to deepen client relationships and drive revenue
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage audiences
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to assess client needs and develop effective solutions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively across teams, stakeholders, and external partners to achieve business objectives
