About the role
- Maintain the general ledger and records of mutual funds of varying complexity
- Producing end of day net asset value calculation
- Prepare daily general ledger accounting
- Conduct prime broker/bank cash reconciliations
- Process advisor/portfolio management processing and corporate action application
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principles
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- One to two years of experience in accounting or finance activities
- Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
