About the role
- Responsible for the sale of assigned merchant services bank products and services generally for an assigned geographic region or industrial segment
- Make sales directly and/or through assigned sales staff to customers and/or prospects
- Develop revenue, volume, and market share objectives for an assigned staff and market area
- Establish and achieve sales and budget goals and marketing strategies for the products/services sold
- Maintain and develop profitable relationships with customers
- Identify and monitor market trends and competitors' actions to gain competitive advantage
- Develop and administer the annual budget for an assigned area
- Develop relationships with industry associations
- Train, motivate, and provide daily management to assigned staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of relevant sales experience
- Bilingual, English and Korean
- Ability to travel
- Merchant services experience (preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of sales and sales strategies (preferred)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills (preferred)
- Strong management and leadership skills (preferred)
- Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills (preferred)
- Effective customer service/relations skills (preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of banking products/services, banking operations, and current market trends (preferred)
- Ability to make important decisions independently (preferred)
