About the role
- Build, manage, and expand relationships with existing DFS clients through regular, consultative engagement
- Identify, analyze, and qualify new retail leasing opportunities, including limited prospecting within approved channels
- Process and manage retail equipment finance transactions from inquiry through funding
- Explain leasing products, pricing, rates, and terms to clients in a clear and consultative manner
- Partner closely with internal sales support and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless execution
- Respond to inbound referrals and inquiries, including occasional requests from Business Banking partners
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity and client information using internal systems and tools
- Consult with clients on business strategies and demonstrate how Equipment Finance solutions can support profitability, competitiveness, and risk reduction
- Participate in ongoing sales training and peer collaboration as the business continues to scale and grow
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent work experience
- Eight to ten years of leasing and sales experience
- Strong leasing sales, relationship management, and new business development skills
- Knowledge of Equipment Finance (preferred)
- Familiarity with U.S. Bank policies and procedures
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to execute sales strategies
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Exposure to Salesforce for pipeline management is a plus
