About the role

  • Partners with Relationship Manager(s) to successfully manage a portfolio of Corporate and Public Sector Banking credit relationships
  • Grows revenue as directed by senior management by successfully closing new business relationships and retaining and expanding relationships with existing customers
  • Underwrites all types of credit account exposure
  • Manages an assigned credit portfolio
  • Successfully closes new business relationships and expands existing relationships
  • Manages credit risk and responds to prospect or customer credit questions and makes independent calls on assigned portfolio of relationships
  • Provides customer service, participates in joint sales calls with Relationship Manager(s), and identifies customer needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Four to six years of relevant experience
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial/corporate lending and credit standards, policies, procedures and products
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills
