About the role
- Source, onboard, and scale Tier-1 embedded payment partnerships while maximizing value across existing relationships.
- Identify and engage new partners in core industry verticals; develop executive-level relationships across product, commercial, and technical stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-potential prospects and drive progression from evaluation to commercial agreement and go-to-market launch.
- Manage the entire sales lifecycle—from initial prospecting through contract execution, go live, and beyond.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead solution workshops, develop financial analyses, and refine embedded payments strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years in business development, partnerships, payments, or financial services (or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Proven ability to structure deals and drive revenue through partnerships
- Deep knowledge of payment technologies, APIs, and integration processes is an asset
- Hands-on experience with technical solutioning, API documentation, and integration workflows
- Familiarity with ERP, eCommerce, and SaaS platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Google, Shopify, Adobe) is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage complex, multi-stakeholder relationships
- Ability to develop and execute multi-year partnership strategies and drive growth
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Excellent executive communication and negotiation skills
