About the role
- Build relationships with customers by meeting face to face and engaging them when and where they need to provide the best possible counsel
- Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs
- Obtain and process customer and account information
- Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services
- Recommend financial solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs
- Originate and close consumer loans
- Open and close accounts
- Open and/or close the branch
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Basic knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively
