About the role

  • Build relationships with customers by meeting face to face and engaging them when and where they need to provide the best possible counsel
  • Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs
  • Obtain and process customer and account information
  • Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services
  • Recommend financial solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs
  • Originate and close consumer loans
  • Open and close accounts
  • Open and/or close the branch

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
  • Basic knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
  • Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
  • Demonstrated proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively
