About the role
- Review appraisal documents for loans booked with real estate as collateral
- Verify loan-to-value and review loan purpose for regulatory compliance
- Develop and enforce compliance policies and procedures
- Participate in compliance projects and initiatives regarding information disclosure and legal proceedings
- Perform periodic reviews to assess level of regulatory compliance
- Work independently with high attention to detail; area is busy at the end of each quarter
- Hybrid/flexible schedule with in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically two to three years of experience in regulatory compliance activities
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Critical thinking skills and problem-solving ability
- Thorough knowledge of government and regulatory laws and regulations
- Basic knowledge of U.S. Bancorp operations, policies and procedures
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong presentation skills
