About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle transactions, storage rentals and customer service
- Keep regular, detailed and complete records
- Ensure cleanliness and security of the storage site
- Assist the storage center manager with directing and motivating center personnel
- Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University
- Work indoors and outdoors, remain stationary for extended periods, traverse spaces, reposition to reach and use tools, and move a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted
Requirements
What you’ll need- Driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- An eye for detail
- Ability to remain stationary for long periods indoors and outdoors
- Ability to traverse spaces and reposition to reach and use tools
- Ability to move a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted
- U-Haul will not hire or re-hire individuals who use nicotine products in Texas
