About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide customer service to internal U-Haul sites as part of the Supply Service Representative Team
Process and enter orders
Expedite or provide special handling for orders as needed
Support all U-Haul locations with supply-chain-related questions and concerns
Maintain a high level of customer service
Communicate professionally with customers and suppliers by phone and email
Escalate supplier-performance concerns to Buyers, Material Planners, Freight, and Management
Resolve disputes while maintaining department policy
Provide appropriate and helpful responses to field feedback regarding order issues
Assist Buyers, Planners, Freight, and Management with special tasks and reporting
Review and correct orders in error status
Participate in continuous training on systems and daily or as-needed tasks
Communicate critical information quickly and effectively when changes or challenges arise
Review orders for compliance with purchasing policies and internal audit
Complete daily and as-needed SSR tasks
Contribute to continuous improvement, process development, and process changes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Customer Service experience (2+ years preferred)
Good decision-making skills
Positive attitude and willingness to help
Great organizational and follow-up skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Experience with SAP or another similar ERP system
High school diploma or GED required
Associate’s Degree or equivalent in experience preferred
