About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Excel models, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and PowerPivot dashboards.
- Design and create dynamic dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize data insights.
- Analyze trends, patterns, and correlations in data to identify opportunities for potential sales.
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner through reports and presentations.
- Provide forecasting data based on trends.
- Manage and maintain data repositories, ensuring security and accessibility.
- Automate repetitive tasks and improve existing data processes using Excel macros, VBA, and Power Query.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Provide training to team members on how to use Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel functionalities.
- Stay updated on the latest tools and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related role.
- Proficient in Excel (advanced formulas, PowerPivot, Power Query, and macros).
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and report creation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with databases and SQL (preferred but not required).
