About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review new claims to determine coverage and contact all parties within 1 business day of claim assignment
- Conduct liability investigations by obtaining statements, gathering and reviewing evidence such as photos, videos and police reports
- Composing letters and preparing forms
- Evaluating property damage and bodily injury claims
- Negotiating settlements of property damage and bodily injury claims
- Assist other adjusters with claim handling as directed by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Experience handling property damage and bodily injury claims
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- High School Diploma or equivalent
