About the role
- involved in the geotechnical aspects of a wide variety of civil engineering projects including transportation, rail and transit, energy, and water, in North America and beyond.
- assistance with design of structure foundations, retaining structures, tunnels, slope stability, earthworks, and earthquake engineering.
- contribute to exciting and challenging tunneling projects in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering.
- Holds an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate or able to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
- Experience with commercial geotechnical software (e.g. Rocscience or Ensoft software) is a plus.
- Knowledge of CAD software is a plus.
- Attention to detail, dedication to quality and accuracy.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of standard business software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
