About the role
- Monitor Morpho lending flows across 20+ networks to understand users behaviours and growth patterns
- Aggregate and prioritize on-chain signals (positions, flows, liquidations, yields, governance events) to surface clear BD opportunities (wallets, DAOs, protocols, market segments) on a daily basis
- Prepare daily high-value signal briefs for BD and the growth team using Morpho's proprietary growth engineering stack to accelerate deal flow and opportunity qualification
- Maintain weekly and monthly reports on asset utilization, asset growth, chain growth, incentive performance, and cohort retention to track protocol health and growth trends
- Run deep-dive analyses on chains, assets, user behaviors, integration impacts, and competitive activity to inform BD strategy, incentive design, and product decisions
- Partner with growth engineering and data analysts to improve Morpho's data stack by suggesting new data sources, features, and metrics that improve signal quality
- Surface emerging DeFi opportunities (new protocols, DAOs, liquidity pockets, novel strategies) and track their outcomes with the BD team
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, strategy, or research roles at fintech or DeFi firms
- Excellent understanding of DeFi: protocols, liquidity, active players, and largest assets
- Strong familiarity working with SQL and Python (running and modifying simple scripts)
- Ability to work with blockchain data tools such as Allium, Dune, and Subgraphs, and more generally on-chain data architecture
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills – ability to work from ambiguous problem statements to clear recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly compiling and presenting analysis findings to clients and internal teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a genuine passion for DeFi and blockchain technology
- A team player with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams to refine product offerings
