About the role

  • Lead the structural design of complex transportation infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels, and walls
  • Oversee and review engineering reports, calculations, and drawings for accuracy and compliance
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
  • Work directly with state agencies, municipalities, and design/build contractors to develop tailored solutions
  • Play a key role in business development efforts, engaging with clients and presenting innovative solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of structural design experience in bridges and transportation infrastructure
  • Development of calculations using Excel and Mathcad
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
  • Expertise in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, CSI Bridge, VBridge, LEAP Bridge, LPile, and more
  • Experience with regional, state and federal transportation agency standards, codes and procedures strongly preferred
