About the role
- Support Project Managers regarding contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications
- Work with Project Managers to address overdue WIP and Accounts Receivables
- Understand and interpret project contracts and billing terms
- Prepare and/or review Project setup modification forms (PSUMF)
- Train Project Accounting Assistant/Billers on Deltek Vision Project billing terms
- Review and approve new project and billing terms setup
- Prepare or review final invoice package for all billable projects
- Communicate with Project Managers with monthly project variances
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years project cost accounting
- Experience in Architecture/Engineering consulting industry highly desired
- Proven experience managing medium to large scale projects
- Deltek Vision software knowledge is a plus
- Prevailing Wage knowledge and experience a plus
- Requires excellent 360-degree communication skills
- Strong commitment to innovation
