Key responsibilities & impact

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Staff Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
Manage daily accounting functions, maintain financial accuracy, and support client operations with precision and efficiency.
Execute accounting tasks, prepare financial statements, and ensure seamless financial operations for multiple clients.
Work closely with internal teams to streamline processes, ensure compliance, and enhance financial reporting.
Leverage cloud-based accounting tools such as Sage Intacct, FloQast, QuickBooks Online, and Xero to automate workflows, optimize efficiencies, and enhance financial close processes.
Work with reconciliation automation, workflow approvals, and real-time financial reporting tools.
Collaborate with international stakeholders and facilitate seamless communication and coordination across CAAS teams.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, account reconciliations, and management reports.
Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations with a focus on automation and efficiency.
Maintain compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards while ensuring the integrity of financial records.
Assist in onboarding new clients, setting up Sage Intacct, and implementing financial workflows.
Respond promptly to client requests, ensuring exceptional service and relationship management.

**Qualifications **
- 5+ years of accounting experience as a Staff Accountant or Controller, preferably in outsourced accounting, advisory services, or a CPA firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA eligibility preferred for Senior Staff Accountant or in lieu of degree 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct (Required).
- Experience using FloQast for close management, reconciliation tracking, and workflow automation (Required).
- Strong technical expertise in multi-entity, multi-currency accounting functions.
- Experience with payroll, sales tax filings, and financial audits.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset.

**Work Environment**
Work can take place either in an open office setting or remote setting with the expectation to travel onsite based on business and management needs. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a flexible and regular full-time schedule. It requires the ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time and communicate effectively with a diverse audience in person, by phone and by computer.
