About the role
- Deliver high‑quality 3D models, renders, and immersive walkthroughs using ArchiCAD and Twinmotion.
- Develop high-quality 3D models, renders, and visualisations to communicate interior design concepts.
- Produce immersive walkthroughs and presentations using Twinmotion.
- Translate design briefs into creative, functional, and visually compelling interior concepts.
- Create detailed layouts, space planning solutions, and design documentation using ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, and custom design elements.
- Prepare presentation materials, including mood boards, renders, and client-facing documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including estimators and project stakeholders, to align design intent with budgets and feasibility.
- Assist in preparing detailed drawing packages and documentation for project delivery.
- Manage multiple design tasks and timelines across projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Support project coordination activities, including responding to design changes and revisions.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all design outputs, particularly visualisations and client presentations.
- Other roles specific duties as they arise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Proven portfolio demonstrating strong 3D visualisation, rendering, and design capabilities.
- High proficiency in ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, or similar design platforms.
- Strong experience with Twinmotion for walkthroughs and real-time rendering.
- Advanced 3D design skills, with the ability to create realistic and engaging visual outputs.
- Strong understanding of layout, spatial planning, colour theory, lighting, and material selection.
- Experience designing custom furniture and detailing interior installations.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop for presentation and visual enhancement.
- Strong documentation skills, including preparation of drawings and design packages.
- Good project management skills, with the ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong creative thinking, attention to detail, and a refined eye for design.
- Experience in commercial fit-outs or high-end residential projects is advantageous.
- Experience working within design-led or boutique interior studios desirable.
- Familiarity with Australian building standards and documentation practices also highly advantageous.
- Experience collaborating closely with estimators and construction teams.
