About the role
- Join a technology-driven solutions provider delivering advanced systems for warehouse and supply chain operations.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using a Python / React / PostgreSQL stack.
- Develop, integrate, and manage RESTful APIs supporting WMS, ERP, logistics platforms, and third-party systems.
- Build and maintain front-end UI components (React, TypeScript) and back-end services on Linux for data processing, automation, and operational dashboards.
- Write clean, scalable, well-documented code aligned with company standards.
- Contribute to system architecture design and reviews to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Analyse warehouse and supply chain workflows to identify improvement opportunities and design solutions addressing inefficiencies in WMS, inventory, or order execution systems.
- Support configuration, deployment, CI processes, and production systems, including debugging, issue resolution, and participation in rotational support.
- Monitor and resolve technical issues via ticketing systems (JIRA or equivalent).
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, product managers, analysts, stakeholders, integration specialists, and client IT teams to deliver technical solutions and ensure smooth system data flow.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and other role-specific duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of full-stack development experience with strong proficiency in:
- - Backend: Python, FastAPI / Flask / Django
- - Frontend: React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+)
- - Database: PostgreSQL, SQL
- - APIs: RESTful development and integration
- - Environment: Linux systems and shell scripting
- Experience with warehousing, logistics, or supply chain execution systems highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with containerisation and CI/CD tools (e.g., Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Strong understanding of software architecture, modular design, integration patterns, data structures, design patterns, and security best practices.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience using ticket-based support systems (JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar).
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.
- Strong ownership and accountability for delivered solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and balancing new development with ongoing support.
- Curious and committed to continuous learning, particularly in WMS, ERP, and logistics technologies.
